I hope that I can have another good day tomorrow! : )
I'm excited about going to a zumba fitness class tomorrow night with my girlfriend.
We did a 2hr straight "zumbathon" last Tuesday! So much fun...but, sooo INTENSE! I'm just glad we found some free classes in our area, so we can go every week now! GETTIN IN SHAPE, SON!
6 weeks ago I was giving birth to my daughter at 187ish pounds..today I am 158lbs! 30 POUNDS from a change in diet+breastfeeding! I've only had  ONE TIME to be active & do that zumbathon. I know once I start working out, dancing, and running..I will be one lean, mean, fighting machine in no time!
My goal is to be about 140. My pre-pregnancy weight was around 140-145. Which is a very good, healthy weight for me at 5'8. I still like to keep some curves & look ALIVE haha.
I love how making better choices in your diet, fitness, and overall health affects your entire well being and lifestyle. The better choices I make, the more positive and happy I am..as well as everything around me! Love it! I am going to try hard to continue with this : )

**I will post recipes for my smoothie drink & the pasta dinner tomorrow on another blog post! : )

Get that glow & shine back!

As a new mom you are going through so many new changes.
Physical, Emotional, & Hormonal-
with that mushy belly hanging all about, swollen/leaking boobs, wider hips, pimples!, bags under your eyes, wearing around a diaper of a pad for weeks, exhaustion, moodiness, baby blues. With all of this and all your new responsibilities..it's easy to lose track of taking care of YOURSELF. However, it is VERY IMPORTANT to take care of yourself, especially as a nursing mother. Your baby seems to be sucking every bit of beauty and any little bit of energy you have. Sometimes leaving you feeling depressed about the way you look. Your hair is falling out, looks dull and dry. Your skin is dry, breaking out, and lost that "glow".

I will be filming a new video on how to maintain a good, nutritional, high(but healthy)calorie "diet". A big part of your physical attributes are reflected by the things you EAT and DRINK. I will be telling you how to keep a good diet while nursing, why it's so important, the effects it has on your hair, skin, & YOUR BABY : )
Also, vitamin supplements, natural home remedies, and which products to use to improve and nourish your hair+skin. : )

Obviously this is not LIMITED to nursing mothers. This is useful for anyone with hair and skin ; )

SOO.. be on the lookout for this new video coming out THIS WEEK on my youtube channel! Subscribe to my youtube channel , so you can be notified as soon as I post the video! : )

NEW VIDEO UP! : )

I made a little vlog update video last night. I'm just getting you guys all caught up on what I've been up to lately. I'm going to try to do more videos...more than one every 2 months like I've been doing, anyways! Like I state in the video, it's hard for me to find time for this. I love doing it & have so much fun..but, I just have to try to find time for it. That's why I thought it was a good idea to keep up with this blog. I will be able to update EVERYONE on here about what's going on & give makeup/beauty updates more often.

I just put a new poll up! So, be sure to vote for my next video that you want to see! OR, give me some ideas of your own : ) I love getting feedback and comments..it lets me know how I'm doing, if I'm sharing helpful information, or if I need to do something differently. This is just a very positive thing for me that I love doing, & put myself completely into. I am very much a makeup/beauty/baby/pregnancy/mommy/nursing open minded enthusiast! These are all things I love to talk about, share experiences, and knowledge to others about.

I hope I'm able to inspire others into making good decisions in their lifestyles, & also help to educate people to make good, positive choices with whatever they do. I want my videos to expand into more than just MAKEUP/HAIR TUTORIALS. I want people to be able to relate to me, and feel comfortable to ask me things that they are questioning or need information/support/help with. For example, since I have started doing these little videos, I have had many women come up to me embarrassed asking for help with their makeup. I know there are women out there who feel ashamed to ask for help with beauty related topics. Some do not feel comfortable in their own skin, how they apply makeup, or have no knowledge on where to begin with beauty products of any sort. It takes practice, knowledge, education, patience, and love of yourself with the confidence you have within you. I want to be able to be a step in that direction for many of those women. I want to be able to help show them what they posses and are capable of with just a little help. : )

busy past few days!

SOOOO...I am going to have to update what's been happening within these past few days all in one post.

FRIDAY morning Lydia woke up with a bad tummy virus : ( She was having loose stools every other hour. Poor thing had such bad diaper rash from constant poop diaper. Ryan & I had a bad virus the week before. I had done EXTENSIVE, INTENSE, sanitizing and deep cleaning around house. I was HOPING/PRAYING she wouldn't get it. Unfortunately, despite my efforts..she got it. I am just so glad it only lasted a day & she was still HERSELF the whole time..just a little more stinky.
I had been looking forward to going to our neighbors house for the monthly wives bunco night! I have never been to one..and I was excited to go. Especially considering it was next door. I ended up deciding it was best for me to stay home with the little stinky one. She is a MAMAs girl when she doesn't feel well. All she wanted all day was mommy hugs, cuddles, and play time.  There is always next month anyways:) Even better... tomorrow night I'm going  to a Zumba class with some wives! FOR THE FIRST TIME : ) I'm pretty nervous about it! I can just picture my big pregnant butt panting and flailing around with confusion & exhaustion, looking like a dummy.DETAILS COMING SOON! lol

SATURDAY We hung out two other army couples. We spent the day at the mall, & picked up our Christmas portraits & greeting cards from JCP. APPARENTLY, we ordered A LOTTTTTT! Then, dinner @ Alehouse where we watched the ARMYvNAVY game..of course ARMY LOST. Lydia decided to dump root beer all over our table, bang with her spoon as loud as possible on her plate, but only ate with fingers...&& she just HAD TO HAVE the spoon or it was the end of the World.
After dinner we went to Guns Plus to shoot some guns! Turns out they were filming for a reality show at the time. They were telling us they had SCRIPTS for the REALITY show..so, it would be more interesting and entertaining. lol NICE. They mentioned it was going to be a show like Pawn Stars. They were going to shoot a machine gun in the range & make up some crazy back story on the gun. We went into the range before they began filming so we could shoot. I have NEVER shot a gun before. I knew that it was going to be hard for me & that I was going to be scared. I have never even been able to muster up enough gut to just HOLD a gun..UNLOADED lol. So, as I nervously crept in through the range doors, I was instantly shocked & stirred up by the loud firing of a rifle. I could feel it my chest, thudding each time the gun was shot. I looked at my husband and I WAS TERRIFIED. I told him there was no way I could do it. I was just standing there holding my chest, crying in terror! I just wanted the guys with the rifle to stop, let it get quiet, let me gain some confidence, compose myself. & let me try to get comfortable to try and shoot. Of course, it never did get quiet. My husband was such a voice of strength and support. He was holding me and reassuring me that he would teach me everything, and that it would all be okay. FINALLY, I picked up the tiny ruger22 & got into stance. I looked out at my target(hand picked myself of a kidnapper holding a little girl) aimed, and shot. WOO, I hit it! I eventually calmed down, got more comfortable with the gun & myself and LIKED it. I did so well for my first time : ) I was so proud. I fired a few rounds & managed to hit my target in the chest, shoulder, and head. I never once hit the girl :D yay!

After the gun store, everyone came over to our house. The boys went outside and smoked Cigars and had a man pow wow. The girls were inside playing with Lydia & having girl talk. After the boys came in, we sent them out to McDonalds and Food Lion for cupcakes and mighty kids meals! MMmMm we all got watches in our meal! We were so stoked about it and planned a date out for all of us to wear them. hahah. Mine is a little black kitten face : )

SUNDAY I spent all day with my honey bear and buggy boo. We were on the search for warm boots and clothes for our New York trip. I think we spent about 6 hours hunting for boots for the both of us. Lydia did so great and so patient with mommy & daddy. She was so tired , and wiped out as soon as we got in the car :)aw. Luckily, we finally found some good boots , though :) thank goodness. We leave for NY on Thursday for the holidays.

Okay, I've written a novel...even, though I think I failed to mention half of what happened. This goes to show that I most definitely have to find time every night to update lol.

By the way, I am 15weeks2days pregnant today! : )

YAYYY! Finally , I took some time & created a blog! Now I have a place to  keep track of all my craziness from day to day! I usually use facebook for that, but, there's only so much you can say when you update facebook. Plus, it will be much easier for me to keep organized archives of everything on here!

I wanted to make this for my youtube beauty channel fans, friends, family, & anybody else out there who is interested in my life as a makeup, hair, beauty enthusiast, proud mommy of a toddler & little bebe baking, and a dedicated EOD army wife!

YOUTUBE followers: I will do more frequent, detailed reviews on some of my favorite, current products. I will be providing tips, tricks, and secrets for hair, skin, makeup. I can take requests for new videos for my channel, and even personalize it for YOU! I wanted to also have this blog to be able to answer questions one on one with you all :) I'm so excited about this & really hope to get some positive feedback with this : )

Friends, family, & everyone else!: I'm going to be updating on my beautiful, growing 16 month old little girl, daily pregnancy updates(I will try), difficult journey as a new army wife, my mixed feelings in a new place, finding friendships, & about all the army/family functions, and BUNCO wife nights.
